Impulze DOT net - For your daily impulze!

These are three small clips showing a sort of a particle system I made quite a while back. They all follow the same procedure with some small changes to create water drops, star field and snow.

Here is the first, water drops:

I used one movie clip that simulates the ring. With a code on it that duplicates it:

And the second, the star field:

This works quite the same way. Only its set to do alpha and speed so we have distant stars. And they are removed once they are out of the stage.

This again works in the same method as the star field. I just added the sin wave to create a bit of a curve in the drop. And some random speeds and scale.

And there you have it, three simple systems. They are very old so the syntax is outdated and it might not even be a correct method these days. But it worked back then and it still does.
